Sunday has a seat for you.

Sunday Dinner with Chef Dorian is a monthly shared-table experience centered on warmth, belonging, and the traditions that bring people together.

Held every third Sunday for only eight guests, the evening is designed to feel less like a formal dining event and more like being welcomed into a family home where something special has been prepared for you.

The meal begins with a seasonal welcome drink, followed by generous dishes passed and shared around the table. Conversation is gently encouraged throughout the evening, but guests are always welcome to participate at their own comfort level.

At the center of the meal is Sandra’s Table, a plated Sunday centerpiece named in honor of Chef Dorian’s mother. Dessert follows, bringing the evening to a warm and familiar close.

The menu changes with the seasons, but the purpose remains the same: to slow the evening down, share good food, create space for meaningful connection, and make every guest feel as though they belonged at the table.

You do not need to know anyone before you arrive. Come alone, with a partner, or with a friend.

There is a seat for you.

WHY SUNDAY DINNER EXISTS

Sunday Dinner was created from a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel welcomed at the table.

The experience is inspired by Chef Dorian’s mother, Sandra, and by the Southern tradition of gathering around a table filled with food, conversation, laughter, generosity, and care.

It honors the meals that brought people together, the recipes and memories carried from one generation to the next, and the understanding that feeding someone is one of the most meaningful ways to welcome them.

The food begins with Chef Dorian’s Southern roots, then moves through the Asian flavors and Italian and French techniques that have shaped his cooking.

Miso may deepen a chicken jus. Kimchi may transform a pot of collard greens. Togarashi may season skillet cornbread. Classical French technique may bring precision and refinement to something familiar and comforting.

These influences do not replace the soul of Sunday dinner. They help Chef Dorian tell his story through food: where he comes from, what he has learned, and how those experiences now meet at one shared table.

SANDRA’S TABLE

At the heart of each dinner is Sandra’s Table, Chef Dorian’s signature Sunday plate.

Before it is served, Chef Dorian offers a brief acknowledgment of his mother and the role her memory plays in the experience.

The course is a tribute to Sandra, to Southern hospitality, and to the kind of meal that makes you feel like someone was expecting you.

The dishes may change with the seasons, but Sandra’s Table will always remain the emotional center of the evening.

A RETURN TO THE TABLE

Sunday Dinner is not about rushing through courses or simply securing a reservation.

It is an invitation to pause.

To pass the food.

To share a story.

To meet someone new.

To laugh, listen, and enjoy the rare experience of being fully present over a meal.

The goal is simple: to bring people back to the dinner table and remind them what it feels like to belong there.
